Paul E. Drozinski Perth -- Paul Edward "Tyke", Drozinski 72, of Route 30, Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Born in Amsterdam on July 27, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward and Beverly Corsette Drozinski and was a 1966 graduate of Perth High School. Paul was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Drozinski operated a plumbing business for several years and was employed at FMCC as a maintenance mechanic, retiring in 2010. At one time, Paul also served as Highway Superintendent for the Town of Perth. A former member of the Perth Volunteer Fire Department, Paul was also a member of The Loyal Order of the Moose, attending the Johnstown Moose Family Center, Lodge 1185. Paul enjoyed being outdoors, camping, and taking care of his property. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed the holidays, especially Christmas. He also loved having pizza on Sundays and taco time with his granddaughter, Tashana Cannizzaro. In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his siblings Joseph, John, and Susan. Survivors include his wife, Geneice Brand Drozinski, whom he married on July 28, 2018, three children, Nancy Moore of Gloversville, Donna Jean Bailey of Albany, Kristie Cannizzaro and significant other Robert Cannizzaro of Broadalbin; his siblings, Linda Lampkin of Hagaman, Robert Drozinski of Schenectady, Beverly Drozinski of Conway SC, and Angela Hamm of Rock City Falls; nine grandchildren Tiesha, Joshua, Stephanie, and Sam Moore of Nancy Moore. Brienna Sawyer, Omarie Keene and Robert Keene of Donna Bailey. Devin and Tashana Cannizzaro of Robert and Kristie Cannizzaro. Five great-grandchildren, Madison, Fayth, Josiah, Dominic, and Wyatt; his favorite feline, Bootsie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. 111 County Highway 106 (Corner of Route 29 and Black Street) Johnstown. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Linda Eastman presiding. Interment will follow at Perth Cemetery. In accordance with current health guidelines, facial coverings and social distancing are required.
