Daphne Ingrid Bolibaugh

Daphne lngrid Bolibaugh passed away peacefully in the arms of her Mama and Dada, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Albany Medical Center. She was born in Amsterdam, NY, March 2, 2024, a precious daughter of Samantha and Daniel Bolibaugh. She lived her whole life in her father's childhood home in Broadalbin. ln her short time here, Daphne touched the hearts of everyone she knew with her sweet spirit, bright mind, and spunkiness. Known affectionately as Daph, Stinky, Stinko and Sweat Pea, Daphne brought light everywhere she went. She loved all animals, her new baby brother, reading books, snacks, Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger, collecting rocks, looking for bugs, and most of all dancing until she fell over. It was fitting that her favorite song was "Dancing Queen" by ABBA because she danced everywhere she went. To know Daphne was to love her. She is survived by her adoring parents, Daniel and Samantha; her brother, Harrison “Sonny”; grandparents, Terry and Katie Bolibaugh and Robert Johnson; her aunts and uncles, Jack and Robert Reakes, MaryKate Bolibaugh and Timmy Yusaitis, Carley and Zac "Zaccy" Bolibaugh, who were her godparents, Tyler and Aspen Johnson, Jerry and Andrea Bolibaugh, Chuck Bolibaugh, and Desiree Bolibaugh; and her cousins, Devon, Marion, Reggie, Keaton, Dominick, Layla, and Nolan or "Nonni" as Daph called him, who was her very best friend. She has countless other friends who are her family. Daphne's family will hold a small, private service on Saturday morning with Sandra Ferguson Boltash presiding. To honor Daph's beautiful life, all are welcome to a Celebration of Life being held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 3-7 pm at The Pavillion at the Pond at Bob's Trees. Come by anytime and dress joyfully. ln lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the PICU at Albany Medical Center where she was cared for tirelessly in her last days or Dolly Parton's imagination Library from which she received so many of her favorite books. Though her time with us was too short, the love that Daphne gave will remain with everyone who had the privilege to know her. Forever our Daph, our Stinko, our Sweet Pea, our Dancing Queen, and a little girl who made the world brighter just by being in it.
