Michelle P. Case

May 12, 1953 - March 9, 2021

Michelle “Shelley” P. Case, 67, of State Highway 29A, Gloversville passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Albany Medical Center. She was born in Amsterdam on May 12, 1953 a daughter of Kenneth and Thelma Perkins Case and was a 1972 graduate of Broadalbin High School. Shelley lived in Oceanside, CA before moving to McKinney, TX in 2000. She returned to the area six years ago. Shelley was the manager at the Hideaway Boarding Kennel in McKinney for sixteen years. Locally, she was employed as a veterinary technician for Dr. Peter Bluvas in Gloversville. Her love for all animals made her loved by all his patients. Shelley also tended bar at Schotts Tavern in Amsterdam. She was a member of the Broadalbin United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Candice (James) Haley of Broadalbin; a brother, Kenneth R. Case, Jr. of Mayfield; a sister, Donna Dildilian of Graham, TX; six grandchildren, Casey, Maryna, Drew, J.J., Austin, and Willow; a great-grandson, Declan Joseph; her former husband, Michael Wilson of Arkansas; her beloved chihuahua, Pheebee and cat, Sunshine; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation was performed at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 20, 2021 at 2pm at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. 111 County Highway 106 (Corner of Route 29 & Black Street), Johnstown with Rev. David Deuel officiating. In accordance with current health guidelines, facial coverings and social distancing are required. Arrangements are by the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc, Johnstown, NY.
